Nachdem die Weihnachtsdekoration schon länger weggepackt ist, blieb noch mein Ribba-Rahmen mit dem Elch drin übrig. Schon letztes Jahr wollte ich den Rahmen benutzen, naja, aber wie das so läuft… Kürzlich habe ich mich nun dran gemacht und Schmetterlinge von  K & Company (Amy Butler Lotus Tea Box Butterflies Die-Cut Paper) arrangiert. Man kennt diese Art von Ali Edwards u.a. Meine Variante sieht so aus:

After having packed away the christmas decoration for a while my Ribba frame with the moose was left. Already last year I wanted to use the frame but you know how this can be… Some days ago I finally did it and arranged butterflies by K & Company (Amy Butler Lotus Tea Box Butterflies Die-Cut Paper) in it. You know this way by Ali Edwards asf. My version looks like this:

Heute ist schon der 4. Advent. Wahnsinn, wie die Zeit rennt. Diese Laterne habe ich mal vor ein paar Jahren geschenkt bekommen. Dieses Jahr habe ich sie mal wieder herausgeholt.

Today is the 4th Advent! The time is running! I got this lantern a few years agao as a gift. This year I took it out of the christmas decoration box again.

Den Tomte kennt Ihr schon, den roten Bascettas-Stern auch. Die Spitztüte mußte mit… Eine ähnliche habe ich ja schon mal geschenkt bekommen. Ich mag die Form und das Rot-weiß. Sowie das God Jul Band.

You know the santa already and the Bascetta’s star also. I had to buy the cornet… A similar one I got as a gift some time ago. I like the shape and the red and white. Also I like the God Jul ribbon.

Vor ein paar Jahren bei Ikea gekauft, durfte auch diese Dekoration wieder aus dem Karton. Glänsa erhellt unser Küchenfenster.

Some years ago I bought this decoration at Ikea. This year I fetched it also out of the decoration box again. Glänsa is lightening up our kitchen window.

A wonderful 4th Advent to you!

Bereits seit ein paar Jahren hängen jedes Jahr Faltsterne aus Transparentpapier zu Weihnachten an meinen Fenstern. Anleitungen gibt’s im Netz genug (z.B. hier). Dieses Jahr ist zu meiner Sammlung ein Stern aus weißem Transparentpapier hinzugekommen. In natura sieht man das besser, auf den Fotos erscheint es leicht grau.

Already for a few years now every year folded stars hang in my windows around christmas time. There are a lot of tutorials at th web (eg: here). This year my collection grew by adding a star of white vellum. In reality it looks much better, on the photos it seems to be slightly grey.

Die verschiedenen Schattierungen faszinieren mich immer wieder auf’s Neue.

The different shades fascinate me everytime.

Rot-weiß ist es dieses Jahr wieder überall bei uns. Ein paar Lichter hinzu… Richtig viel habe ich jedoch nicht aufgestellt. Hier ein weiterer Teil unserer Weihnachtsdeko 2009.

Red-white can be again seen this year everywhere here. Some lights are added… But it’s not that much decoration. Here comes another part of our christmas decoration 2009.

Inspiriert von Ikea (sie hatten im “örtlichen” Elchkaufhaus Zweige in eine Vase gestellt und Kugeln dran befestigt) ist das mein “Weihnachtsbaum” dieses Jahr. Die Hänger sind aus Glas und aus der diesjährigen Weihnachtskollektion. Die Stofftüte habe ich bereits letztes Jahr geschenkt bekommen.

Being inspired by Ikea (they put branches into a vase at the “morsestore” nearby and decorated them with baubles) this is my “christmas tree” for this year. The pendants are made of glass and from this year’s christmas collection. The fabric cornet I got last year as a present.

Nicht richtig weihnachtlich ist diese kleine Laterne. Aber sie paßt so schön dazu. Ich habe sie dieses Jahr geschenkt bekommen und finde sie wunderschön. Die Streichholzschachtel hat ein dreieckiges Format, das Motiv ist schwedisch (gekauft vor ein paar Jahren bei einem Laden mit dem Namen ‘Schwedenstil’).

This little lantern is not really christmassy. But it’s so fitting the decoration. I got it as a present this year and think it’s really really beauftiful. The matchbox is of a triangular shape, the motive is swedish (bought some years ago in a store called ‘Schwedenstil’).

Hä? Ribba ist eine Bilderrahmenserie vom Elchkaufhaus. Ich hatte vor einer Weile einen Rahmen gekauft, um etwas Bestimmtes damit zu machen. Beim Umdekorieren kam mir jedoch plötzlich eine ganz andere Idee. Vorübergehend wohnt nun ein Elch im Ribba

Ribba is a series of picture frames from the “moosestore”. Some time ago I bought a frame to make something specific with it I had in my mind. While redecorating suddenly another idea came to my mind. So now temporarily a moose is living in a Ribba.

Die Vorlage für den Elch stammt aus der Zeitschrift “sabrina spezial wohnen”. Das Papier ist von making memories (falala snowflake). Die Glocke habe ich mal von einem Schokoweihnachtsmann aufbewahrt.
