Letzte Woche bekam ich Besuch von Birga. Als Willkommensgeschenk für unsere kleine Linnea brachte sie Folgendes mit:

Last week I met Birga. As welcome present for our little Linnea she gave us the following:

Cool oder? Babyzubehör (Windeln, Babypflege usw.) und eine Mrs. Perkins! Birga: knuddel! Ich hatte erwähnt, daß ich für Linnea eine nähen wollte, aber momentan eben nicht dazu komme. Und diese Giraffe passt auch noch farblich super ins Kinderzimmer! *hach*

Cool, isn’t it? Baby supllies (diapers, baby care asf.) and a Mrs. Perkins! Birga: cuddling! I mentioned that I wanted to sew one for Linnea but currently don’t get around to do it. And this giraffe matches the colours of the nursery wonderful.

Anfang der Woche erhielt ich von Conibaer wundervolle Post. Trotz ihres Fulltimesjobs (auch Neumama) hat sie uns eine Karte gewerkelt und mit einem Geschenk bedacht. Ist die Karte nicht toll geworden? Die Post ging zwar etwas rabiat damit um, das konnte ich aber flicken. Und für das kleine Album habe ich auch schon eine Idee. Danke, liebe Coni, für die schöne Überraschung!

At the week’s beginning I got lovely mail from Conibaer. ‘Though having a fulltimejob (also new-mama) she created a card for us and sent a present. The card is really wonderful, isn’t it? The German Federal Post Office treated it a little ruthless but I was able to fix it. And I already have an idea for using the mini album. Thank you, dear Coni, for the beautiful surprise!

Wunderschöne Post erreichte mich. Am Montag bekam ich Post von Stone (aka Gabi aus Österreich), die mir Abdrücke schickte. Vielen, vielen Dank! Begleitet wurden sie von einer wunderschönen Karte, nämlich dieser hier:

I got wonderful mail! On Monday I got mail from Stone (Gabi from Austria) who sent imprints to me. Many many thanks! They were accompanied by a wonderful card, namely this one:

Echt toll mit den Schneeflocken und den Schnörkeln. Einfach klasse. Danke, liebe Gabi!

Dann überreichte mir der Postbote ein in Paketpapier eingewickeltes Geschenk, das mich erstmal hat umkippen lassen. Tina B. ließ es sich nicht nehmen, unserer Kleinen Schuhe zu werkeln. Tina, ich bin echt platt! So niedlich und so schön verpackt. Begleitet wurden die Schuhe von einer superschönen Karte im Tina-Stil. Das sah dann so aus:

Then the postmen gave me a present wrapped in brown paper. It made me “fall over”. Tina B. insisted on creating shoes for our little one. Tina, you could have knocked me down with a feather! So cute and so nicely wrapped. The shoes were accompanied by a wonderful card in Tina-style. It looked like this:
