UFO

Diese Tasche habe ich einen Tag vor Linneas Geburt angefangen. Dann aber hatte ich mich vernäht und das Ding erstmal für den nächsten Tag weggelegt. Naja, am nächsten Tag war ich mit anderen Dingen beschäftigt

Und da momentan irgendwie der Wurm drinne und an großartiges Basteln / Nähen nicht zu denken ist, dachte ich, ich mache mal wieder Schritt-für-Schritt-Basteln und habe dieses UFO (Unfertiges Objekt) beendet. Natürlich nicht in einer Aktion, das wäre ja viel zu einfach…

This bag I started a day before Linneas birth. But then I had sewn wrong and so put the thing aside for the next day. Well, the next day I was busy with other things

And because at the moment there’s something very wrong and I cannot think of great crafts / sewing I thought I’d do again some step-by-step crafting and have finished this UFO (unfinished object). Of course, not in one step that would be too easy …

Die Tasche beherbergt nun meine Schwedisch-Sachen (also Wörterbuch und was wir so im Kurs bekommen).

The bag is now home to my Swedish stuff (ie dictionary and what we get in the course).

Die Tasche ist originär eine Ratzfatz-Tasche, nur daß ich dieses Mal ein paar Abnäher (nennt man das so?) angebracht habe, so daß sie etwas Tiefe erhält.

The bag is original a Ratzfatz bag, except that I this time used some darts (is it called like this?) so that it get’s a little depth.

Die Maße hatte ich eh meinen Vorstellungen angepasst. Die Tasche ist somit etwas größer als die normalen Ratzfatz-Taschen, damit da auch ein Ordner und das dicke Wörterbuch reinpaßt. Ob ich genug Platz einberechnet habe, wird sich zeigen.

The dimensions I had adjusted my expectations. The bag is thus slightly larger than the normal Ratzfatz bags so that there fits inside a folder and the thick dictionary. If I have allowed for enough space is to be seen.

Das ist die 2. Seite. Die Buchstabenapplikation ist nicht sooo schön geworden. Da muß ich nochmal recherchieren, wie man am besten Applikationen herstellt. Das Ergebnis der ausprobierten Technik entspricht jedenfalls nicht meinen Vorstellungen.

This is the 2nd side. The letter application is not made sooo beautiful. I have to search for how to make the good looking applications. The result of trying out the technoique is definitely not my ideas.

Hier kann man wohl sehen, was ich meine. Ich sehe gerade, daß die Streifen schief sind. Nunja…

Here you can see well what I mean. I just noticed that the stripes are crooked. Well …

Das ist der Innenstoff, den ich verwendet habe. Die Stoffe sind übrigens beide von Ikea.

Jetzt fehlt nur noch die passende Stiftetasche. Das kann aber etwas dauern, bis die entsteht. Ich weiß schon genau, wie sie aussehen soll… *seufz*

This is the lining I’ve used. The fabrics are, incidentally, both from Ikea.

Now what’s missing is the matching pins pocket. But it can take some time to create it. I know exactly how it should look like … * sigh *
